Each year, prior to its show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the Academy of Art University organizes in New York, a daylong fashion workshop for its fashion students. Those taking part travel from all over the U.S. on their own dime for this opportunity and the chance to see the AAU show at the Lincoln Center.
Last Friday, 11th October 2013 saw Modeconnect excited to attend the re-launch of the iconic Croydon School of Art. Over 150 people gathered in the school refurbished building alongside a panel of famous fashion insiders which included internationally renowned designer and Croydon alumni John Rocha.
