Designer Nest 2014

Designers’ Nest Award AW14 winners are Giorgi Rostiashvili, Emilie Johanson and Lise Weisbjerg Dahl

The Designers’ Nest Award is a design contest created in 2005 to promote to a global audience the best students of a selected group of Scandinavian fashion schools.

Twice a year, each of the 10 participating schools select 3 student designers, each to present 3 outfits at a show organised at the fashion trade fair VISION during Copenhagen Fashion Week. This is a great opportunity for the chosen students to showcase their skills and talent. The winner also receives a cash prize of DKK 50,000.

Designers’ Nest AW14 was the 19th edition of the competition. The winner was Giorgi Rostiashvili from The Royal Academi, School of Design, Copenhagen. Emilie Johanson from The Swedish School of Textiles, Borås, Sweden was 1st runner up while Lise Weisbjerg Dahl from Teko Center Denmark was 2nd runner up.
