Dominik Mersch Gallery films Li Hongbo’s paper sculptures

Paper gourds are traditional Chinese objects, often toys or decorations made from glued layers of thin paper designed to open into complex shapes. Beijing based editor and designer Li Hongbo’s fascination with them inspires series of sculptures here in white showed at Sydney-based art gallery Dominik Mersch Gallery who made this videos.
